When on goes to cinema cafè showing love movies, on invariably picks things up there, emotionally, spiritually and intellectually. And when one director and has three Estonian dancers to work with during a hot summer, it happen that those emotional, spiritual and intellectual ideas find their way into all of us through the medium of dance.
From 2002-2012 Ruslan Stepanov was a ballet dancer and choreographer at the Vanemuine Theatre, receiving awards from the Estonian Theatre Association for his productions of “Spring” and “Carrrmen!”. From 2012-2014 he was a dancer at the wee dance company in Germany and continues to work there as a freelance dance artist and director. His (and Laura Keil´s performance “It´s looking like a castle, if you don´t look up” /produced by Tantsulabor and Tallinn Dance Theatre) was nominated in the annual awards category for dance productions of the Estonian Theatre Association.
“Klapp” was nominated in the annual awards category for dance productions of the Estonian Theatre Association.
